doma Uganda 2009 itinerary March 2, 2009

DOMA INTERNATIONAL ITINERARY 2009

March 4   – Leave US

5   – Arrive in Uganda at 11:15pm (Uganda time) Head to hotel

6   – Purchase medication & organize, general orientation to Kampala

2pm press conference, radio station interview and clinic in the slums

7   – Location 1 ~ Mukono-  set up & see patients, visit PACE Children’s Center 80-100 children

8   – Location 1    See patients in Mukono and head to Jinja at 4pm (40 Mins drive to Jinja from Mukono).

9   – Location 2 ~  1/2 team: See patients in Jinja; Visit PreK orphanage of 200 children; work from on-site medical clinic
1/2 team will visit Wakawaka  (orphanage of 80 children)

10 – Location 2   1/2 team: See patients in Jinja
1/2 team will visit Wakawaka

Return to Kampala @ 4pm

11 – Location 3 ~ Depart for Mityana & see patients at 9am.Sleep in Mityana.

12 – Location 3;  In Mityana & see patients at 9am & return to Kampala at 4pm

13 – Kampala Visit to Kasubi Tombs, Uganda Museum,
Shopping at the African Craft Market, etc

14 – Visit Nkumba Ministries then depart.
